Stacked by Season Wrap Up

Good evening everyone. I haven’t been around in a bit. I’m sorry! I’ve been busy doing the reading thing! I know! It’s shocking.

If you don’t know what Stacked by Season is, it’s a readathon that I co-host with the amazing Melissa at TheWrittenAdventure. The goal is to read for 24 hours over the course of 4 days. Fine and dandy, right? Easy peasy.

Nope! I haven’t hit the 24 in the several months that we’ve been hosting this. We do it every month over the course of a weekend (Thursday to Sunday). I’m really excited for when I’m out of school because Thursdays and Sundays are usually homework days for me.

The next one will be in March, so make sure you all are following the Instagram so you can stay up to date for when the next one is!

That being said, this round was my best one yet! I got to 15 hours! I cheated the tiniest bit, though. I had like 10 minutes left on my audiobook after midnight, but I’m counting it as finished during the readathon.

Let’s talk about the books that I finished during this readathon! Both were audiobooks and I made progress through a physical read.

The book that I made progress in was Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller.

I went from page 70 to 145 over this readathon. I’m really enjoying this book, but I am a bit disappointed that my original thought on a plot twist isn’t likely to happen.

The first book I finished during Stacked by Season was A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab.

I started this on page 296 and listened through to the end on page 396 so I listened to 100 pages of it.

In the end, I realized that I wasn’t really that into it. I couldn’t find myself immersed in the story. I do plan on continuing on with the series, but I don’t know. I feel like I expected more out of it and I was just let down.

The other book I read from start to finish. The whole 316 pages of. And that was Well Met by Jen DeLuca.

I absolutely loved this book! I couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so addicted. I may or may not have put off doing homework to read more! It was a solid romance and I can’t wait for the sequel!

Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you all enjoyed today’s post. I’m once again behind on everything, but I’ll be catching up. Reading has been taking over my life and I’m not even mad about it!

What did you all read this weekend?

I’ll see you all in the next one! Bye!
