Sorry this intro isn’t really much. There’s not really much I have to say to introduce everything. Let’s just get into this.

I absolutely fell in love with this. So, you may have noticed that I haven’t been posting really. I want to say I don’t know what’s been going on, but I know. I have all this time to do stuff, but I haven’t been prioritizing. Just today I’ve found myself scrolling through TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and whatever else I could find. But I haven’t done much on my to do list.

Don’t get me wrong, this is okay sometimes. But I find myself doing this more than not and not getting the stuff done that I need to get done like blog posts. So I’m working on getting myself on a schedule. I want to start waking up before my son and getting some work and relaxing stuff done before he gets up.

So I hope to start tomorrow. I’m going to wake up, probably at like 6-6:30, have my coffee, and maybe read for a bit. Then I’ll sit down and respond to emails, comments, post my Instagram photo for the day, and anything else I can really think of doing.

I also need to work on getting my son on a schedule. I won’t lie and say I’ve been good about that. Sometimes I just let him play on video games all the time because I’m exhausted from work. Again, this just shows how much I don’t like my job or what it does to me.

But I’m hoping that with this time off, I can get on a schedule that will work for me and my family. It’s all going to be trial and error. Any tips would be great. I’m going to share some videos below from people who really help to motivate me. Make sure to check them out!

Something I want to start doing is block scheduling again. I think I made a post a long time ago about why this didn’t work for me. Thinking back, I think that I was just coming up with excuses and not giving it the full chance to do what it’s supposed to do. So something I’m going to work on is that.

So it’s now late as I’m writing this so I’m going to finish up and say bye. I hope you all enjoyed this post even though it didn’t really make much sense. I’m just in a weird place, but I know I’ll figure it all out.

To finish off, here are a few goals I have for April and the remainder of this quarantine I’m in.

  • Start writing again
  • Get my house cleaned so I can ACTUALLY declutter (and keep it clean)
  • Get myself and my son on a schedule
  • Read 30 books in 30 days (I’ve been talking about this more on Instagram)
  • Figure out a plan to fit BookTube back into my life (both posting and watching)

  2. I am doing okay. Still just adjusting to whatever this new “normal” is going to be for a while. I totally relate to you on not getting much reading done. I seem to be spending my day scrolling endlessly as well. I loved the videos that you included and I am definitely excited to check them out later today.
