Good morning everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Today I’m going to be taking a look back at the Anticipated Releases and TBR blog posts that I posted for January. I want to see if I’m actually reading and watching the things that I am claiming that I want to.
I know that I’m bad about doing that 99% of the time, but I wanted to just take a look and see.
So, let’s get right into this.
So, I’m just going to list everything is different categories and cross it off if I read or watched it. If I have anything to say, I’ll put it in parenthesis after the title or at the end of the post. Let’s just get right into this!
TBR | NewYearsathon & January
A Valentine Proposal by Viv Royce The Best Man Problem by Mariah Ankenman Blue Beech Series by Charity Ferrell(I read a couple of the books, but ended up DNFing it, so I’m crossing it off)
- Internet Famous by Danika Stone
Love Story by Karen Kingsbury(Another DNF) Come Back to Me by Mila Gray
- Chestnut Man by Søren Sveistrup
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
- Tweet Cute by Emma Lord
Throw Like a Girl by Sarah Hennings
- Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey
Movies in Theaters
- Dolittle (I honestly forgot about this movie entirely)
- The Game: Towards Midnight
- Touch (To be fair, I did start this one but I haven’t finished it yet)
Alright! So I did really well with my TBR, but not so great with my new releases. I realized that I am very bad about talking about the things I’m excited about and then completely forgetting about them. So I think what I’ll do is go back to this style of TBR where I have different categories that I have to choose books to fit into like arcs, new release, mystery box books, etc. But we’ll see.
Thank you all so much for joining me and while this post was very lacking in information, I think it was a fun reminder for myself about some of the books and shows that I was really excited about at the beginning of the year, but have pushed back because of other ones catching my eyes.
If you want me to continue doing these posts or if you’ve read any of these books or watched anything mentioned, comment below and let me know!
I am so thankful for all of your continued support. I would also like to remind you all that I have a Discord channel that I would love for you all to join. It’s still being added to, but I want it to be more active and the best way to do that is by adding more people!
So, there are channels where you can discuss books, plan buddy reads, help support each other’s writing, and even Animal Crossing where I’ll be sharing turnip prices and other things! So make sure you click on this link to join the Discord!
I’ll see you all very soon (even sooner if you join the Discord (please join)).
