My Fall “Bucket List”

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself and practicing social distancing when possible. Be nice to essential workers and remain home.

Today I’m going to be going over a few things that I would love to do this Fall. I am saying it’s a bucket list, but I wouldn’t necessarily classify it as that. It’s just stuff I would really like to do this Fall, not necessarily things I can only do during the Fall. So it won’t be things like “pumpkin picking” or “jump into a pile of leaves.” You’ll probably see as I go over everything.

Let’s get right into this everyone!

1. Start Streaming

I’ve wanted to start live streaming some games I’ve been playing, but I just haven’t found the motivation to actually start doing it. I’ve been really into gaming lately, now that I have more time to and I’d like to be able stream it. I’m hoping over this Fall, I’ll be able to get a setup and start doing it.

2. Read More Thriller Books

I’ve always been interested in reading thrillers, but I haven’t read too many. I would love to spend this Fall reading more thriller books.

If you have any recommendations, feel free to let me know. I just know that I would prefer ones that don’t follow a detective or cop. Thanks!

3. Start Cooking

I know this is something a bit strange. I struggle with finding motivation to cook meals. I would love to not only start cooking meals every day, but I would love to get my son in on it. That’s of course going to start with planning my meals better.

What is something you want to do this Fall?

4. Declutter and Organize My Life

I am a mess. I’m sure a lot of people can relate to that right now. But I’m just a mess. My house is mess, in some ways. I want to go through and organize things and get rid of some things. That’s going to be a goal I have for this Fall. A messy house equals a messy mind. I’m hoping that organizing my house will help to organize my mind.

5. Find a New Income

Okay, this is a strange one, but very important to me. I’ve been quarantined since March. Which means I haven’t been working. And it’s made me realize how much happier I am (and my family is) when I’m not at that job. So I have the goal to find a new job before the Fall is over so I can leave that job.

I would love to be able to make money from this blog or streaming or just being a social media, I guess the best word is influencer. But it’s not feasible, so that means I need to look elsewhere. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop doing the things I love, which is posting on here and Instagram, but I will need to find something.

And that’s going to it! There are things that I would like to do that I’ve been saying that I want to do for months now, so I didn’t want to mention them again here. But these are the main things that I want to focus on doing.

Don’t forget to let me know in the comment what you all want to do this Fall. It can be anything, big or small.

Thank you all so much for joining me in this post. I hope you all enjoyed it or got some ideas of things you may want to do over the next 3 months. Make sure you have reasons for doing these things though. You’re not going to be motivated to do anything if you don’t have a reason behind it.

I’ll see you all very soon! Have a wonderful day and rest of the week!

      1. I can definitely understand that. Sometimes expectations can just be too high for something and no matter how good it is, it just doesn’t live up to them. That’s the bad side of hype, unfortunately.

  1. I need to cook more too! I’ve gone back and forth about subscribing to boxes like Blue Apron or Hello Fresh to force me to cook. About your last goal, I am with you! I think this pandemic has made us all reevaluate our careers/job goals. While I am fortunate to still have a job I am looking for extra income, especially since because I work in a school things could easily go back to remote and I’d have no job and also I don’t see this virus going away anytime soon.

    1. I am definitely keeping you in my thoughts right now. People working in schools have it so rough right now. Between having to go in every day and be around kids, sometimes in not so safe ways, and having the uncertainty of whether they are going to keep their jobs or not, it’s stressful, I’m sure. So I’m sending positive vibes your way, definitely. I’m also lucky in the fact that I can 1. afford to be out and 2. have the chance to go back if I need to. But I would definitely prefer to find something else do I can remain as happy as I am. Not to mention I used to work an overnight shift with my husband and it’s just too stressful on both me and my husband. Throw in the fact we’re homeschooling our son and it’s just too much for me to go back.
