Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Make sure to check out the Readathin Announcement that went up yesterday!
Today I’m going to be talking about the book that we chose for February’s Books and Love Book Club! I’m super excited about this book and we have some people reading this author for the first time!
Make sure you comment down below to let me know if you’re going to be joining us!
To start out, I want to let you all know that you can join into the discussion of this book in my Discord, Books and Love. You don’t have to be a part of the Discord to read this book with me, but I will be discussing it on there mainly.
If you plan on joining anywhere else, then use the hashtag #BooksandLoveBC
That all being said, let’s just talk about this book!

We decided to pick Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett. This book is about a girl who grew up very isolated until she decides to take a job working the graveyard shift at a hotel. She ends up teaming up with another worker at the hotel to try to solve a mystery behind an author who has never been seen in public who may be meeting someone at the hotel.
We felt like this was going to be a fun romance for February and decided to choose it to be read in February. We’re going to be starting it on the 15th of February and finishing it on the 21st. The page breakdown is below. I do hope that you all can join us in reading this book.
- 15th: Pgs. 1-56 (Ch. 1-5)
- 16th: Pgs. 57-117 (Ch. 6-10)
- 17th: Pgs. 118-183 (Ch. 11-14)
- 18th: Pgs. 184-236 (Ch. 15-18)
- 19th: Pgs. 237-298 (Ch. 19-23)
- 20th: Pgs. 299-357 (Ch. 24-27)
- 21st: Pgs. 358-425 (Ch. 28-End)
And that’s really it for this post! I hope you all can join us in reading Serious Moonlight. I’ve been looking forward to reading more Jenn Bennett for such a long time and I’m so glad that this book is going to be pushing me to do so!
I’ll see you all very soon! Have a wonderful weekend!
I love the cover on this book~! I’ll see if I can add this to my TBR for February.
