5 Things I Would Like to Do Before 2021

Good morning/evening/late night everyone. It’s currently 1 AM where I live and I had posted on Twitter and Instagram earlier that I would definitely be getting a post up. Well, I laid down with my son and decided I most certainly was not getting a post up. That was approximately 3 hours ago.

I was struggling with falling asleep and feeling tired really at all, so here I am, keeping my promise.

Today I will be talking about 5 things that I would like to do before this year is done. These are going to be things that I would like to accomplish, but I wouldn’t really say is a bucket list. This isn’t going to be things like “go on vacation” or stuff like that because, well, the world is falling apart.

So, let’s just get right into this and just know that I am eating some ice cream right now and have no shame.

Good morning everyone! Amanda back again to just check in with you all.

Sorry this intro isn’t really much. There’s not really much I have to say to introduce everything. Let’s just get into this.

Goal Motivation | Coffee Over Books

Good evening everyone! I discussed this a bit in my most recent video, but I would like to motivate you all a bit.

It’s February, nearly mid-February, and I’m sure that we have either given up on some goals from the beginning of the year or are trying to find the motivation to get them done.

New Years Book Tag | Tag Tuesday 2020 Round 1

Good morning everyone! It’s time for a tag. I started writing the emotional post but I just decided to scrap it for now. I couldn’t get my thoughts straight so let’s just do a tag!

Its the first Tuesday of the year so let’s start up a new Tag Tuesday round! So round one, let’s talk 2020 goals.

This tag was created by Bookables back in 2017 for 2018. So let’s just get into it!

How many books are you planning to read in 2020?

I would love to read 100 books not counting graphic novels or manga. I’m currently at one.

Name 5 books that you didn’t get to this year but want to make a priority in 2020

So, off the top of my head: Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller, Renegades by Marissa Meyer, Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy, and Perfectly Messy by Lizzy Charles.

What genre do you want to read more of?

So, I have two and one of them might be surprising. But first, make sure you all stick around and follow my blog because I am making a priority this year reading some genres and tropes I may not have tried before to see if it’s something I like.

The first one is poetry collections and books told in prose. And another is sci-fi. Yup. Your girl who doesn’t like sci-fi is going to try to read more.

Name 3 non book related goals for 2020

I want to start doing yoga more, graduate and at least start an internship, and be more positive.

What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?

American Psycho and The Great Gatsby. Both of these books have been on my shelves the longest unread. I need to get to finishing American Psycho and reading The Great Gatsby.

One word that your hoping 2020 will be

Grand. And I don’t mean extravagant. I just want positivity and happiness in my 2020. Cutting out the negativity and building new relationships that are more positive. Judging by how 2020 has been going so far, I don’t know how well this will work.

Thank you so much for joining me and I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday. It’s Monday for me and I’m about to go to work in a couple hours. So I’m going to take an hour nap really quick.

Comment below with what genres you would like to read more of in 2020.

I’ll see you all in the next one! Bye!!!

Weekly TBR and Goals | Dec 30, 2019-Jan 5th, 2020

Oh hey! It’s Monday! That means it’s time to set some goals. Great. Let’s start setting. But first, welcome.

I’m sorry that I didn’t get a chance to get my December Book Haul up for you all. My phone airdropping to my iPad just wasn’t working and I haven’t had the motivation to switch to my computer.

So I’ll work on that tomorrow and until then, I’m sorry. Goal is to have both of those up tomorrow. I have a post planned for each and every day this week. Today’s is this. Tomorrow is wrap up and hauls for December.

So tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me when it comes to blogging.

But another main goal of the week is reading. I would like to finish Snowed in Love before tomorrow is over (I just finished PS I Still Love You but that was on the list too). I also would like to finish reading QoN and listen to A Darker Shade of Magic entirely, same with The Valentine Proposal.

Lastly for reading, I want to start Chestnut Man. I doubt I’ll get to all of the books mentioned, but some are higher priorities than others.

Any other tasks that I have for the week are cleaning and home related. Oh, besides wanting to update my planners every day and wanting to participate in two Instagram photo challenges.

But other than that I mainly just want to get my home in order. My brother is moving out and since we already get up my son’s bed in our room and it won’t fit thought outs bedroom doors, the spare room will be the playroom for both my husband and my son.

So that means a lot of rearranging and reorganizing. But since that probably won’t be don’t until next week, I want to finalize placement plans.

I want to start working on the kitchen declutter and start on school stuff since that starts tben 6th.

Anyway, it’s currently 4:30pm and I’ve been up for almost 34 hours. Sox I’m passing out. Especially since I had one cup of coffee yesterday when I woke up.

Don’t forget that NewYearsathon starts on the first! I definitely look forward to doing this readathon with you all.

Let me know in the comments what goals you have for this week.

See you all in the next one! Bye!
